Load-holding valve / lowering brake valve, double-acting; 3/8"
Load-holding valves (also known as counterbalance valves) for double-acting hydraulic cylinders (or double-acting hydraulic functions) are offered here.
The load-holding valve is used to hold hydraulic cylinders or comparable double-acting functions securely without leakage.
The key advantage of load-holding valves over double pilot-operated check valves is their much more precise opening behavior.
They can also generate back pressure when handling overrunning loads, allowing the loads to be controlled more precisely.
This valve is also pressure-compensated, which means the upstream valve does not need to be unloaded for this valve to shut off securely.
